Carol Sweeney started a one-therapist private practice in 1985 before websites were popular and logos were electronically generated. The location of her practice was rather unique at that time because it was adjacent to a health club. It was a wonderful place to do physical therapy, making use of the pool for aquatic therapy and helping patients not only to recover from injury or illness but encouraging them to pursue a healthy lifestyle. The principles were simple. Give high quality effective treatment to each patient. Treat every patient with great respect and concern. Maintain a high standard of ethics. In 1995 the athletic club expanded and proposed additional space for physical therapy. Timberhill Physical Therapy got its start and has continued to follow those original principles. In addition to Carol Sweeney, there are now three more physical therapists - Frank Hann, Kathy Moen and Rich Lague - who are all very competent and dedicated to quality care. All of our professional staff is committed to improving their skill levels by participating in regular continuing education courses. The practice is also fortunate to have a wonderful front office staff: Cheryl Van Leuven and Donna Cowger. They assist patients with all the complexities of the "insurance" world. We are happy to be of service whenever you need physical therapy! |
